Understanding Alzheimer's & Dementia

This workshop aims to explore the relationship between Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Participants will examine what happens in a brain affected by Alzheimer's, detail the risk factors for and three stages of the disease, identify FDA-approved treatments available to treat some symptoms, and look ahead to what's on the horizon for Alzheimer's research.

This event is part of the 2019 Community Workshop Series hosted by Buckeye Hills Regional Council and produced by the Alzheimer's Association of Cincinnati. Each event in the series is the 4th Tuesday of the month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., March through July

All workshops are free and open to the community.
